摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a variation in pressure caused by a windbreak cover in collector mounted on a roof of a vehicle on a railroad. SOLUTION: A windbreak cover 1 has an outer face almost all projected and continuously curved in a way that the vertical sectional area thereof in a forward direction of an electric vehicle increases continuously from front and rear edges to a pantograph head 21 and attains a maximum at the pantograph head 21. Since the sectional area is increased without reducing the projected area, a variation in pressure can be reduced. Then, the effect of attenuating aerodynamic noises is not reduced even when the shape of the cover is changed. As a result, the cover can contribute to the realization of high speed of the vehicle on a railroad without deteriorating an environmental condition along the railroad.
