摘要： PURPOSE: To provide a swiveling chair for a railway rolling stock, having a very restful and convenient footrest at each chair. CONSTITUTION: The chair 1 comprises a seat 13, a leg base 15, a back 17, arms 19 and further, bases 23a to 23c which are box-shaped members for supporting the seat 13 and a swiveling mechanism 21 for supporting the bases 23a to 23c so that the bases 23a to 23c can swivel 180 deg.C for the leg base 15. The footrest 11 and a footrest moving mechanism are disposed in the bases 23a to 23c. The footrest moving mechanism is driven by a servo motor 41 to convey/store the footrest 11 from/to the front opening of the bases 23a to 23c. The footrest 11 is constituted by a sole supporting section 11b and a leg supporting section 11a. The legs of the user can be rested by being supported in various states in a manner such that the sole supporting section 11b is overlapped to the leg supporting section 11a or is lifted to the right angle.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an air flow stirred with an aerodynamic brake disc during the operation thereof front being blown to an overhead line by providing a plate type fin having plate surface positioned like an eaves bulged toward the brake disc, regarding a device for obtaining a brake force via the collapsing and erecting operation of an aerodynamic brake disc supported on a roof. SOLUTION: An aerodynamic brake disc 4 has a lower end held on a vehicular body 7 so as to be capable of freely turning. Also, a plate type fin 2 is connected to the free end of the aerodynamic brake disc at the breadthwise intermediate position, so as to be capable of turning. Furthermore. the fin 2 has the bulged end of the fin 2 journalled to the end of an idler link provided at a position opposite to the mounting position of an actuator 6 for erecting and collapsing the aerodynamic brake disc 4. The fin 2 is thereby made expandable and kept parallel to an overhand line 1. interlocked with the standing motion of the aerodynamic brake disc 4. The installation of the fin 2 prevents an air flow from being blown to the overhead line 1 at an aerodynamic braking process, and further prevents the overhead line 1 front being separated from a pantograph 10a.

If the seat is directed in the up direction (in the down direction), a motor actuator 25 in the seat is not operated and a motor actuator 25 of a seat, which is not directed in the up (down) direction and in the standard attitude, alone is operated so as to release the lock.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a braking force not resricted by the friction coefficient of a wheel by providing an air inlet free to open on a fairing attached around the lower part of a vehicle body for covering both sides of the under floor part which is opened during deceleration to introduce air flow and to increase air resistance. SOLUTION: A fairing 1 is attached on the lower part of a railway vehicle body to cover the whole of both sides of the under floor part. An air inlet door 2 is installed on the fairing 1. The air inlet door 2 slides upward via the activation of an actuator 5 to open the fairing 1, which permits ambient air to flow in the under floor part. As a result, a braking force which is not restricted by the friction coefficient between a wheel and a rail and which has tha same function and effect as those of an aerodynamic brake is obtained. Therefore, deceleration performance is enhanced and the braking distance is shortened.

By controlling the connection between the clutch device and the clutch disc, the air brake plate 1 is operated through the operation of the wire drum and the wire rope.

摘要： PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of aerodynamic sound during traveling while suppressing the increase in the weight of a train. CONSTITUTION: Two current collecting shoe elevating mechanisms are installed at a pantograph 2, and the mechanisms and current collecting shoes are eccentrically deviated laterally at a train. Thus, when the two mechanisms are opposed longitudinally of the train, the both can approach to each other, and a pantograph cover 11 for enclosing the pantograph 2 can be reduced in size and weight. When the train is advanced, the two mechanisms are operated, only the rear shoe with respect to the advancing direction is brought into contact with a trolley wire, and the other shoe is retained in a folded state. Thus, an air flow generated by the traveling of the train is jumped up to the oblique surface 11a of the cover 11, thereby suppressing the flowing speed in contact with the shoes and the mechanisms.

摘要： PURPOSE:To greatly reduce the noise of a current collector, the lifting power value of the conductor and the air resistance of a sound insulator. CONSTITUTION:A sound insulator 6 consists of a front-and-back wall 7 which excludes the noise generated by a current collector 2, a side wall 8 and a base plate 9. The device 6 is installed being separated from a train roof by a supporting member 10 placed on the surface of the roof. The plate 9 is formed as a projected curved surface toward the bottom in the width direction of the train and if necessary, an opening section 11 is provided in the plate 9 so as to secure an electrical insulation distance against the tips of a horn 4 when the device 2 is installed. The wall 7 is formed into a recessed tilted surface so as to guide the air flow to the top of the device 2. The wall 8 has a curved surface.
