    • PURPOSE:To obtain a heat pump type air conditioner operated normally even at low ambient air temperature by a method wherein the circumference tempera ture of electron parts is detected by a temperature detector and the device controlling the conduction of an electric heating device is provided. CONSTITUTION:In case the circumference temperature of a base plate 41 is higher than the lower limit temperature of the normal operation temperature at electron parts, a thermo-lead-switch is in closed condition. When an operation switch is closed in this condition, a magnetic contactor 35 is conducted to close a contact 35a. Accordingly, a micro-computer control circuit 3 is conducted through an insulating transformed 39 and the circuit 3 starts the operation. In case the circumference temperature of the base plate 41 is lower than the lower limit temperature of the normal operation temperature at the electron parts, the electric heating device 32 is conducted to heat the base plate 41. When it arrives at the lower limit temperature or above of the normal operation temperature, the thermo-lead-switch is closed while the magnetic contactor 35 is conducted and the contact 35a is closed, therefore, the conduction for the electric heating device 32 is cut and the micro-computer control circuit 3 may be conducted to start the operation.

    • PURPOSE:To provide the defrost method of an air conditioner to enable to effect a sure defrost operation even in case the humidity conditions of ambient air have been changed by a method wherein the defrost conditions to start the defrost operation are requested by the output of a temperature detector at refrigerant piping and the output of a humidity detector detecting an absolute humidity of the ambient air. CONSTITUTION:The absolute humidity of the ambient air is detected by inputting from the humidity detector 16 after starting of the heating operation. An optimum defrost unoperation time (t1) is obtained from a defrost unoperation time reference table due to the absolute humidity memorized in memory 21 previously in accordance with the absolute humidity detected. The higher the absolute humidity becomes, the larger the amount of the defrost becomes, therefore, the set time is set in a short time. The heating operation is continued till the heating operation time (t0) arrives at the defrost unoperation time (t1), when it has arrived them, the pipings temperature are detected by inputting of the temperature detector 10. In case it is comfirmed that the detecting temperature is lower than the set temperature, an excitation of a four-way valve coil is released to change the four-ways valve 2 and the defrost operation may be started.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent hot water in a water tank from being used up in case power failure happens to occur in the time zone when midnight power is supplied, by heating water at the maximum rate by effectively using the remaining time as soon as the power failure is recovered. CONSTITUTION:The water temperature in the lower part of a hot water tank 1 is detected by a temperature sensor 3. A water temperature and heated-water temperature determining means 4 determined the temperature in a feed water and the water temperature to be heated up from the detected value by the sensor 3. A processor 6 calculates the net heating time, the starting time of heating and the temperature to be heated up for an electric heater 2, based on the output from a demanded quantity of hot water setting means 5 and that from the water and heated-water temperature determining means 4. Besides a time switch 8 controls the supply of power from a power source 7 to the heater 2, and a signal detecting means 10 detects whether power is supplied by the power source 7 or not. When a power failure detecting means 11 detects a power failure from the output of a signal detecting means 10, a heater controlling means 12 controls the heater 2, based on the result calculated by the processor 6 and the output from the power failure detecting means 11. As a result, hot water being used up in the water tank 1 can be prevented.

    • PURPOSE: To decrease the number of operation and the quantity of snow dropped, and to reduce cost and lengthen a lifetime by setting a space between a roof surface and a snow removing member at a specified value and at a value or less corresponding to the quantity of a snow cover on a roof in a limit, in which a building can resist safely. CONSTITUTION: Snow removing members 6 fixed into trucks 8 through L-shaped connecting members 10 are bridged between guide rails 3, 3 installed on both sides of the gable side of a roof 1 through mounts 11 for heap up in 25 cm while being crossed over the rails 3 and being extended even to the gable side. Spaces in approximately 30 cm obtained by adding the height of the mounts 11 to spaces in approximately 5 cm among the conventional roof 1 surface and the snow removing members 6 are set in the quantity of a snow cover or less in a limit, in which the roof 1 can resist safely at that time. A person expects to a snowmelt by sunshine at daytime in sections of 30 cm left by snow dropping by driving the snow removing members 6 when the quantity of the snow cover reaches approximately 30 cm or more, and snow can be dropped extending over the whole surface of the roof 1 by the snow removing members 6 when the quantity of the snow cover exceeds 30 cm by a snow fall again.
