SOLUTION: The method of mounting a plurality of electromagnetic shield panels 1A and 1B to a metallic column is disclosed, each of the shield panels comprising a sheet panel base 2 and a steel plate 3 covering the front surface and the side surfaces of the panel base, with a finish 4 applied or affixed to the front surface of the steel plate 3 and a rust inhibitor 5 applied or affixed to the back surface of the plate. A horizontally extending retaining part 3b is formed on the outside of a side face of the steel plate 3. The rust inhibitor 5 on the retaining part 3b is peeled to insert a conductive gasket 7 between the retaining part 3b of an adjacent panel and the metallic column 6. Next, a retaining fitting 8 is set on the front side of the retaining part 3b and is secured to the metallic column 6 with mounting screws 9.

The exhaustion mechanism 4 includes: an exhaust flow path 43 having an intake port 41 exposed in the isolated space S and an exhaust port 42 exposed outside; a fan 7 for causing the air inside the isolated space S to flow from the intake port 41 to the exhaust port 42 through the exhaust flow path 43; and a filter 44 provided inside the exhaust flow path 43. Thus, a patient M sitting down on the chair 2 is transported in a state of being isolated from outside.
