      SOLUTION: The patient transportation device includes: a device body 5 which holds a chair 2 and is provided with an exhaust mechanism 4 for cleansing the air inside an isolated space S around the chair 2 and exhausting it; and an isolation sheet 6 for covering the isolated space S. The exhaustion mechanism 4 includes: an exhaust flow path 43 having an intake port 41 exposed in the isolated space S and an exhaust port 42 exposed outside; a fan 7 for causing the air inside the isolated space S to flow from the intake port 41 to the exhaust port 42 through the exhaust flow path 43; and a filter 44 provided inside the exhaust flow path 43. Thus, a patient M sitting down on the chair 2 is transported in a state of being isolated from outside.
