    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ferrite composition having a small electric power loss Pcv even in a high frequency region (e.g., 1 MHz or more) and a high initial magnetic permeability and specific resistance, and to provide a ferrite core constituted of the ferrite composition, and an electronic component including the ferrite core.SOLUTION: The ferrite composition is characterized in that a main component contains iron oxide in an amount of 47.1-49.95 mol%, expressed in terms of FeO, copper oxide in an amount of 2.3-10.0 mol%, expressed in terms of CuO; and zinc oxide in an amount of 27.6-32.0 mol%, expressed in terms of ZnO, with the balance being nickel oxide, and as sub-components, phosphorus is contained in an amount of 2-63 ppm, expressed in terms of P and zirconium oxide is contained in an amount of 43-5,980 ppm, expressed in terms of ZrO, each based on 100 mol% of the main component. Further, manganese oxide may be contained in an amount of 0.01-2.1 mol%, expressed in terms of MnO, in the main component.
