    • PURPOSE:To prevent a metallic electrode from turning or coming off by executing a machining for finishing by forming different unevenness and a groove on the outer periphery of the metallic electrode being the mold object of a sensor mold article, and thereafter, molding it together with a resin. CONSTITUTION:An annular groove 2 is formed by the machining on the outer periphery of a lower side than the height position of 1mm from the upper end of a ring-like electrode 1 consisting of, for instance, Ag, and also, on the outer periphery of the lower side than the annular groove 2, a knurled surface 3 is formed by a knurling work. Subsequently, to the upper face of the electrode 1, a lead wire 4 consisting of Ag is brazed vertically, and next, the electrode 1 is set in a frame 5, and thereafter, by molding polybutylene terephthalate 6, an oxygen sensor 7 is obtained. In such a way, the electrode 1 is engaged to the polybutylene terephthalate 6 and allowed to adhere tightly by engaged to the annular groove 2 and the knurled surface 3, therefore, a sensor mold article having a satisfactory quality, in which the electrode does not turn nor comes off is obtained.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a submount excellent in conductive characteristics in which resistance from one side to the other side is lowered while exhibiting sufficient heat dissipation effect by applying a coating on one side of a wafer and then cutting the wafer into band members thereafter applying a coating on the other side. CONSTITUTION:A wafer 1 is sequentially coated 1a, on one side thereof, with Ti, Pt, and Au through sputtering and further coated with Pb-Sn through wet plating. The water 1 is then cut into band members 2 which are subjected to ultrasonic cleaning and subsequently coated, on the other side thereof, with Ti, Pt, and Au through sputtering. Thereafter, the band member 2 is cut into a submount 3. Since the wafer 1 is applied with coating on one side thereof and cut off and then applied with coating on the other side thereof, coating 1c on the other side spreads onto the cutting face, i.e., the side face. Consequently, electrical conduction from one side to the other side is achieved through connection of side faces thus realizing a submount excellent in conductive characteristics and exhibiting sufficient heat dissipation effect.

    • PURPOSE:To provide a slide brush of good quality by furnishing a touch sensor to sense the over and under sides of an extra-thin wire in the position where the wire is fed horizontally, thereby optimally controlling the feed amount of the wire, and stabilizing the welding strength. CONSTITUTION:Twenty bobbins 2 on which an extra-thin wire 1 is wound are placed in sideways alignment and supported on the output shaft 12 of a motor 11, and each extra-thin wire 1 dangling at the bobbin 2 is positioned so as to be fed horizontally, where the over and under sides of the extra-thin wire 1 are sensed for eventual abnormality by the upper and lower parts 13, 13' of a touch sensor. After putting such wires 1 having passed the touch sensor in alignment and into a bundle by an aligning and bundling tool 14, they are passed through a guide 15. The foremost part of the bundle 5 of wires 1 is pressure welded by an upper and a lower electrode 14, 14' onto a base 6 made of phosphor bronze through a projection 6a while the bundle 5 is clamped by a holding jig 15a. this is followed bycutting of the bundle 5 using cutters 8, 8'. Then the foremost of bundle 5' welded to the base 6 is bent into an arc of a circle to form a contacting part 9. Thus a slide brush 10' is accomplished.

    • PURPOSE:To increase the straightness irrespective of the working depth of a small hole by installing a tool guide serving for a tool making die as well having a hole in the necessary shape on the body to be worked, forming in the necessary tool sectional shape by feeding a wire tool by inserting it into the tool guide and subjecting a small hole to ultrasonic machining on the body to be worked by the tool. CONSTITUTION:A tool guide 13 serving for a tool making die as well is installed on the body 4 to be worked, a wire tool 17 is fed by inserting it into the tool guide 13 and formed in the necessary tool sectional shape. Thus the tool 17 receives no limitation at all even if how deep the working depth of the small hole is. Also in case of the tool 17 formed in the necessary sectional shape working a small hole 8 on the body 4 to be worked, it descends straight along the guide hole 12 of the guide 13 of the tool 17, so in case of the tool 17 coming into contact with the body 4 to be worked, the longitudinal vibration by ultrasonic wave does not escape in the transverse direction and on the way of working the intermediate part of the tool 17 is held on the tool guide 13, so the longitudinal vibration does not escape in the transverse direction.
