摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a platinum alloy having high purity and high hardness and excellent in castability that has never been obtained in the conventional platinum alloy by means of trace amounts of alloying elements. SOLUTION: This alloy is a platinum alloy in which respective contents of Si and In for alloying with platinum are controlled to prescribed values and also the total amount of the alloying elements is controlled to a prescribed blending ratio. Contents of Si and In, to be concrete, are regulated to 0.01-0.2 wt.% and 0.005-0.5 wt.%, respectively, and also the blending ratio is regulated so that [In content (wt.%)]/[Si content (wt.%] becomes 0.5-3.0.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To produce a glass fiber of a structure in which two or more kinds of different glasses are joined in the lengthwise direction from the fiber longitudinal direction by placing respective different molten glasses in each chamber of a platinum pot having partition plates placed on a nozzle and simultaneously discharging and spinning the glasses from the nozzle at the bottom. SOLUTION: The interior of a pot 2 made of platinum is divided with partition plates 3 made of platinum and a nozzle is installed at the tip thereof. Different molten glasses are respectively placed in each chamber of the pot 2 made of the platinum, discharged and spun from the bottom nozzle to provide a conjugated glass fiber. The resultant conjugated glass fiber is then heated at about an incinerating and deoiling temperature to further reduce the curl diameter of a curly fiber, or a specific glass part of the conjugated glass fiber is chemically dissolved and removed. Since the glass fiber has a structure in which two or more kinds of different glasses are joined in the fiber longitudinal direction, the glass fiber of functions simultaneously having advantages possessed by each glass is produced.

摘要： PURPOSE:To intensify and stabilize weld strength and to obtain good quality and a long life by forming the butt welding surfaces of the plane end faces of oxide dispersion reinforced platinum and platinum alloys as the welding surfaces in the plane diagonal direction with the longitudinal direction of the materials. CONSTITUTION:The oxide dispersion reinforced platinum 1 is butted against each other at the plane end faces 2 in the plane diagonal direction with the longitudinal direction of the materials and is welded by plasma welding using a welding rod of the same material. As a result, the welding area is increased. Since the welding is diagonal with the direction where stresses are actually applied, the load stresses at the time of use as a device are dispersed. The weld strength is thus intensified and stabilized.
