CONSTITUTION:A light transmitting plate 3 for closing an opening 2 for see-through observation formed on a water cutoff wall 1 is arranged so as to provide a state in which the peripheral part of the light transmitting plate 3 is faced to the wall surface on the water area side of the water cutoff wall 1, which is provided with a supporting means for supporting the peripheral part of the light transmitting plate 3 in a state thereof regulating the movement thereof to the side of the water cutoff wall 1. A sealing material 4 for sealing the gap between the light transmitting plate 3 and the water cutoff wall 1 is further provided. A hard receiving means 5, filled in a fluid state and cured is installed between the wall surface of the water cutoff wall 1 and the peripheral part of the light transmitting plate 3. A thin-walled cushioning material 6 is interposed between the inner peripheral part in the receiving member 5 and the light transmitting plate 3 or the inner peripheral part between the receiving member 5 and the water cutoff wall 1. As a result, sealing properties of the light transmitting plate are improved.

      SOLUTION: In this folded-plate roof structure, an upper fitting 1, which is fixed to the undersurface side of the upper folded plate A, and a lower fitting 2, which is fixed to the top-surface side of the lower folded plate B, are assembled together in such a manner as to be relatively displaceable from each other in a direction along a folded part D of the folded plate and engageable in a vertical direction, so that the upper and lower folded plates can be connected together with a vertical space in between. The upper and lower fittings are brought into vertical contact with each other via a rolling member 25 rollable around a horizontal axis X in a direction almost orthogonal to the folded part of the folded plate.
