    • PURPOSE: To shorten a construction term until a final excavation work has been over by constructing earth retaining walls around an existing underground structure, and letting excavation for constructing a new underground structure be then completed before the aforesaid existing underground structure is disassembled and removed. CONSTITUTION: Earth retaining walls 3 and 3 having each depth corresponding to the depth of a new underground structure, which is deeper than that of an existing underground structure, is constructed around the existing underground structure. The uppermost structural section 1B1 of the existing underground structure 1 is then disassembled and removed, and the uppermost floor skeleton F of the new underground structure is then constructed. The remaining section 1A of the existing underground structure 1 is made struts for each earth retaining wall 3, and excavation for the new underground structure is then executed at the under side of the existing underground structure 1. The existing underground structure 1 is disassembled and removed in order from its upper section, and the remaining floor skeleton F of the new underground structure is then constructed in order from its upper section by a reverse placing method as the aforesaid operations are carried out.

CONSTITUTION:Plural underground columns 4 are constructed, and a formwork 10 for the first floor under the ground is hung down and fixed through a hang ing mechanism H from the columns 4. Concrete is placed into the formwork 10, and the ground below the formwork 10 is excavated. The mechanism H is then extended to the next underground floor, the formwork 10 for the floor is hung down and fixed, and concrete is placed into the formwork 10. These processes are repeated to construct plural underground floors in order from above to below. The period of construction can thus be greatly shortened, and assembling and disassembling operations for formworks and timbering work in places where working conditions are bad can be lessened.
