摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a stable working face which is free from collapse and falling in by excavating a shape of the working face into a shape of a part of a sphere which protrudes on an innermost side of the working face by a cutter wheel on which a disc cutter is attached on outer periphery thereof. SOLUTION: A disclike cutter wheel 1 on which a disc cutter is attached on outer periphery thereof is attached to a tip of an arm 2. The arm 2 performs the oscillation movement around a rotary shaft 3 at a basic end thereof. The disclike cutter wheel 1 bites in a face of a working face 4 slightly and moves horizontally for excavation due to the reciprocal movement of the arm 2. As a result, the working face 4 is excavated into a shape of a part of a sphere which protrudes on an innermost side of the working face 4. Furthermore, both hem parts 5 of the working face 4 are formed by a curve so that a stable shape can be ensured.

The slant folding section 2 can freely perform derricking action of folding in a downward slant direction from a predetermined portion of the horizontal section 1 as a base-side end, and conveys the muck discharged at the cutting face K, from a loading location to a predetermined portion of the horizontal section 1. The horizontal section 1 in the area T in the vicinity of the top is movable in frontward and rearward directions, which does not hinder a tunnel truck (sheet work truck 3 and a slide centering 4) from moving in a zone where the horizontal section 1 is arranged.
