    • PURPOSE:To prevent coming-out and rusting of a rivet or the like due to air entrapped in a bottom hollow space of a rivet hole formed at the top of a piston for fixing an intake valve of an automotive air conditioner, by employing such an arrangement that air is not left in the bottom hollow space of the rivet hole. CONSTITUTION:An intake valve 27 is fixed in place by forcing a rivet 29 into a valve fastening hole 28 formed at the top of a piston 25 to extend axially of the piston 25. Further, the piston 25 is formed with a first communicating port 30 functioning as a relief hole for opening a bottom hollow space 28a of the hole 28 in the outer surface of the piston 25, which extends axially of the piston 25 from the bottom hollow space 28a to a spherical portion 31, and a second communicating port 32 functioning also as a relief hole which extends radially of the piston 25 for communicating the bottom hollow space 28a of the hole 28 with a space near an intake port 26. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to prevent trapping of air in the hollow space 28a and therefore to solve the problems of coming-out and rusting of the rivet 29.

    • PURPOSE:To improve lubrication efficiency by conducting active elimination of blow-by-gas from an inclined-plate chamber so that cooling (or refrigerating) media containing high rate of oil becomes able to be easily introduced into the inclined- plate chamber. CONSTITUTION:Although an inclined-plate chamber 10 is filled with blow-by-gas leaking out from a small gap between inner wall surface of a cylinder bore 13 and outer circumferential surface of a piston 17 while a compressor is in operation, as cooling media is positively discharged from the inclined-plate chamber 10 toward a suction chamber 25 by a passage 34 linking the inclined-plate chamber 10 with an auxiliary suction chamber 24, inside of the inclined-plate chamber 10 is prevented from being highly pressured, and a part of the cooling media, which contains high rate of micro-grain oil and oil and enters the inclined-plate chamber 10 by inertia from change in direction of suction passage, becomes able to flow into the inclined-plate chamber smoothly, and therefore, all the sliding sections become able to be effectively lubricated.
