    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a terminal fitting for suppressing the barrel buckling, and to provide an electric wire therewith.
      SOLUTION: The terminal fitting comprises a bottom plate 30 on which a core wire 13 exposed from the terminal of the electric wire 11 is placed, the pair of wire barrels 16 rising from both sides of the bottom plate 30 and pressure-bonded to be wound on the core wire 13, contact faces 27 formed on the wire barrels 16 to contact the core wire 13, and first recessed portions 18 formed in the contact faces 27 of the wire barrels 16 while continuously extending at least from a position near the bottom plate 30 to positions near the ends of the wire barrels 16 along the peripheral direction of the core wire 13 in the state that the wire barrels 16 are pressure-bonded to the core wire 13.
