    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation wire the corona discharge start voltage of which can be increased by decreasing the dielectric constant thereof, while enhancing welding resistant, and to provide an electric machine coil using the same, and a motor.SOLUTION: In an insulation wire having a conductor 3, first insulation layer 1 covering the conductor and a second insulation layer 2 covering the first insulation layer 1, the first insulation layer is formed by applying a first polyimide resin varnish containing a first polyimide precursor obtained by reaction of 4,4'- diaminodiphenyl ether and pyromellitic acid dihydride, as a main component and then baking the varnish, and the second insulation layer 2 is formed by applying a second polyimide resin varnish containing a second polyimide precursor obtained by reaction of aromatic diamine and aromatic tetracarboxylic dianhydride and having an imide group concentration of 33.0% or less after imidization, as a main component and then baking the varnish.
