      SOLUTION: There is provided a power line carrier communication system (a PLC modem 10) equipped with a power line carrier communication (PLC modem 10) apparatus, a power line 11 connected to the PLC modem 10 to transmit communication signals, and filters 1, 2 arranged on the power line 11 to reduce the common-mode current. In the power line communication system, an impedance for the common-mode current of the filter 1 arranged in the PLC modem 10 side is made larger than that of the filter 2. The filters 1, 2 each comprise magnetic members 1a, 2a and windings 1b, 2b wound around the magnetic members 1a, 2a, while the number of turns of the winding 1b in the filter 1 is made larger than that of the winding 2b in the filter 2 to thereby increase a common mode impedance.

The photovoltaic power generation system is provided with a power conditioner 7 and a receiver device 8 that extracts the data signal by demodulating the communication signal.
