    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and lightweight AC/AC converter containing therein a voltage adjustment function which exceeds a conventional concept of a transformer.SOLUTION: Provided is an AC/AC converter 100 for outputting an output voltage derived by transforming an input voltage, the AC/AC converter 100 comprising: a filter 1 provided on an input side and used to let the input voltage pass through; a filter 2 provided on an output side, with a voltage passing therethrough used as an output voltage; a transformer 3 provided between the input-side filter 1 and the output-side filter 2; semiconductor switches 4-6 provided in series to a winding of the transformer 3; and a control unit 10 which, by performing duty-controlled switching on the semiconductor switch 4 while keeping the semiconductor switches 5, 6 in an on state, causes the input voltage passing through the input-side filter 1 to have its voltage transformed by the transformer 3 with a frequency which is to be cut off by both of the filters 1, 2.
