    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fixing method for a blade exchanging type tip by which a round chip can be rotated by a fixed rotation angle in order to reuse a used blade portion and to avoid disposal of a blade while it is remained in an unused condition. SOLUTION: The fixing structure for the blade exchanging type tip has a depression of a reverse truncated pyramid shape in a rake face and has an angle θ made by the flank of the reverse truncated pyramid and the rake face being 30 to 85 degrees. A round chip 1 is fixed by a holder 14 and a pressing tool 10. The holder 14 has a screw hole 15 for a cap screw, a first sliding face 12 for fixing the round chip and a notch for retaining the round chip at a tip. The round chip pressing tool 10 has a round head drawing pin 13, a long hole 16 for the cap screw and a second sliding face 12' for fixing the round chip. When the round chip pressing 10 is tightened in the holder 14 with the cap screw 11, the pressing tool 10 is moved downward and backward along the first sliding face 12, the pressure welding of the second sliding face 12' and the first sliding face 12 is carried out, and the round chip 1 is retained firmly.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem that (1) an electrical discharge machining, which is often used in cutting super-high stiffness materials such as a cBN sintered body or a diamond sintered body, has difficulty in cost reduction of products due to slow working speed, and that (2) a laser beam machining, which requires a post processing due to quality problems of working end surface, also suffers a high working cost.
