    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress power consumption when using a display part in a transparent state. SOLUTION: A portable terminal 1 includes a transparent display 14a which, when voltage supplied from a power supply through first and second electrodes arranged on a light dispersion part is turned on, penetrates light, and when the voltage is turned off, disperses light. Further the portable terminal 1 includes: a display control part 14b which, when voltage applied to the first and second electrodes is turned on or off, or the voltage is turned on, controls switching timing of plus and minus of the voltage by a prescribed display frame rate; and a control part 12 which, when the display control part 14b is a stand-by mode for making the transparent display 14a transparent, sets the display frame rate to a prescribed value, and when the display control part 14b is an information display mode for displaying information on the transparent display 14a, outputs an instruction for setting the display frame rate to a value higher than the prescribed value.     • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transparent display-specific gamma curve suitable to a liquid crystal module using a polymer-dispersed liquid crystal as a transparent display and an electronic apparatus using the liquid crystal module, for improving display appearance.
      SOLUTION: A driving means driving a liquid display panel performing gradation display between transparent color and white using the polymer-dispersed liquid crystal, includes a gradation conversion part associating a plurality of input gradation values (V0-V63) between the transparent color and white with a plurality of output gradation values between a minimum opacity and a maximum opacity (opacity 0-1.0). In the gradation conversion part, the relation between the input gradation values and the output gradation values is represented by an S-shaped curve.
