摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the image quality of a taken image.SOLUTION: A pixel array part of a solid-state imaging apparatus comprises two-dimensionally arrayed unit pixels each comprising at least: a photoelectric conversion part; a charge holding part for holding electric charge accumulated in the photoelectric conversion part; a transfer part for transferring to the charge holding part the electric charge accumulated in the photoelectric conversion part; and a reset part for resetting the electric charge of the charge holding part. Then, the solid-state imaging apparatus performs control relating to reading of voltage of the charge holding part, in response to initialization of the charge holding part before charge transfer by the transfer part. This technique can be applied to a CMOS image sensor, for example.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To effectively remove an offset component depending upon the difference in in-plane fluctuations of large properties (in-plane distribution) and the parasitic capacity.SOLUTION: In DDS driving where signal charges, held or accumulated in a charge detection part (FD part), are read out as a signal level V, and where an FD part 42 is reset to a predetermined potential, which is read out as a reset level V, the signal level V, read out first from a unit pixel, is used as a reference voltage of an input voltage range which can be converted in an AD conversion circuit 23. Then an AD conversion is carried out in a state where the reference voltage is adjusted so that the signal level Vand the reset level Vremain within the input voltage range.
