    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply shoot a three-dimensional image properly setting a feeling of depth.SOLUTION: A parallax estimating portion 12 detects the parallax between an image for a left eye and an image for a right eye for displaying a three-dimensional image. A parallax information analyzing portion 13 calculates a range of the parallax between the image for the left eye and the image for the right eye, and determines whether a feeling of depth when viewing the three-dimensional image exceeds a range which is set in advance and comfortable for a viewer, on the basis of the calculated range of the parallax. An alarm code producing portion 15 produces an alarm code corresponding to the determination result. This invention can be applied to, for example, an imaging device for imaging the image for the left eye and the image for the right eye for displaying the three-dimensional image.
