    • PURPOSE:To store an endless tape without bringing a tape surface into contact with each other, by attracting and rotating a housing member having an air column divided in multiple pieces radiantly from a center part, and housing the endless tape in curved shape. CONSTITUTION:The air of the air column 5 in the housing member 2 is attracted by driving a suction air pump, and negative pressure is generated in the air column 5, and the tape delivered by a capstan 17 and a pinch roller 19 at an entry side is attracted and inserted in the air column 5. In other words, the housing member 2 is rotated by a rotary shaft, and each of the air columns 51-5n is conformed to the capstan 17 and the pinch roller 19 at the entry side sequentially, and the tape is attracted in the air column 5 sequentially, then is inserted and housed in the curved shape. In such a way, it is possible to store the endless tape without generating abrasion.

Therefore, two-way system tape cassette can be commonly used.

    • PURPOSE:To improve the characteristic of the entire part by organically coupling a frequency generator to a preamplifier which draws out the output signal thereof. CONSTITUTION:Primary, secondary coils 31, 32 of a winding ratio of 1:n (n>1) secured to a magnetic core 22 encircling a yoke 14 secured to the revolving shaft 11 of a frequency generator 10 are connected to transistors 42, 43 by way of the transistor 41, capacitors 61, 62 of a differential amplifier 45. Then, when DC current is flowed to the primary coil 31, a DC magnetic flux is generated, causing the revolving shaft 11 to revolve. Then, the magnetic resistance of the magnetic path changes and alternating voltages of the frequencies determined by the teeth of gears 13, 23 and the number of revolutions of the revolving shaft 11 are generated in the secondary coil 32. The voltages are then supplied to the transistors 42, 43 and the specified output signals are drawn at terminal 71. Since the current to the coil 31 may be adjusted by a variable resistor 51, the magnetic flux of a required magnitude may be readily obtained and therefore cocking may be prevented by reducing the magnetic flux and the output signals of sufficient levels may be obtained by specifying the winding ratio of the coils 31, 32.

      CONSTITUTION: After tape guide 23, 24 delivered from the different two-way system cassette supply reel 3 or 5 travels the common routes of guides 144, 145, a tape 23 is taken up by a drum 70 at an incident angle of 5° and a tape 24 is taken up at an incident angle of 5.94° by the drum 70 through gradient guides 148, 149 and a vertical guide 150 route. For the tape 24, the height of taking in the drum, i.e. the incident angle is controlled by the gradient guides 148, 149. In addition, at use of the tape 23, guides 148W150 are fallen at their sides and made out of use, and at use of the tape 24, the guides 148W150 stand upright and are on use to make possible the common use of the tape travelling system against the different two-way system tape cassette.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent damages to a tape with simple construction, by forming an air gap functioning as a air duct at the opposing part of a magnetic head tip generating a transfer bias magnetic field to the tape and pressing each tape on a rotary drum circumference. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic head 8 generating a transfer bias magnetic field is formed by winding a coil 10 around a magnetic core 9, and an air gap 12 communicating a core internal space 11 with the outside is formed at the position of the core 9 opposing to the tape and a rotary drum 3. The air gap 12 is an air gap serving as an air duct without interposing a spacer, and a housing 13 of almost rectangular parallelopiped having an opening at one side is provided to surround the magnetic head 8. The opening of the case 13 is formed in a circular shape so as to be faced to the rotary drum along the drum circumference, and side walls 14, 15 are in close contact with both ends of the core 9 of the magnetic head 8. Further, static pressure chambers 16, 17 surrounded with the housing 13 and the core 9 are formed before and behind the magnetic head 8 along the tape running direction.
