    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simply constructed and inexpensive monitor for an optical communication apparatuses which displays with visible light the operating state of a line and the connection state among the ports of the optical communication apparatuses so as to prevent in advance misrecognition and erroneous interruption at maintenance and inspection or the like of the line.
      SOLUTION: The monitor includes: branching means such as filters 101, 107 for branching part of signal light passing through a coated optical fiber 10 of an optical fiber cable; photoelectric conversion means such as photodiodes 102, 108 for converting the branched signal light into an electric signal; a visible light output means such as a control circuit 104 for outputting visual light in response to the electric signal outputted from the photoelectric conversion means and a visible laser diode 105 or the like; and a display means such as a display section 120B for carrying out lighting display with the visible light. The branching means, the photoelectric conversion means, the visible light output means and the display means are mounted on an optical wiring panel 100 acting like the optical communication apparatus.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact and light-weight outdoor electronic equipment storage container at a low cost that does not require ventilation or cooling means such as a fan or a cooling system and can eliminate overheat inside the container without using a heat insulating paint or heat insulating plate.SOLUTION: A container body 1 and a lid part 2 to be attached to an opening of the container body 1 while keeping waterproof property are formed of a resin that is added with a heat insulating material such as titanium dioxide and high in radio wave permeability. Consequently, temperature rise inside an outdoor electronic equipment storage container can be prevented even when the outside temperature is high, a normal operation of radio communication equipment and the like inside the container is assured, and a burden to install an antenna outside the container is eliminated. Also, the small and light-weight storage container at a low cost with a simple configuration that does not require ventilation or cooling means such as a fan or cooling system and installation spaces of these is realized.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light signal detection component which actualizes cost reduction and manufacturing workability improvement by eliminating the restriction needed when the component is manufactured thereby facilitating its manufacturing. SOLUTION: The light signal detection component is provided with a male connector 1, a female connector 2, two light signal output parts 3, and a base part 4 including an optical waveguide substrate. The light signal detection component can discriminate whether or not the light signal is transmitted by the presence/absence of branched signals, and the transmission direction of the light signal based on from which of the two light signal output parts 3 the light signal is transmitted. Thus, the light signal detection component, which actualizes cost reduction and manufacturing workability improvement by eliminating the restriction needed when the component is manufactured, can be obtained.
