    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the ground strength of back-filled ground when an earth retained space which is partitioned and formed by removing an underground portion of an existing building, is back-filled with general backfill earth.
SOLUTION: Reinforced and back-filled ground is created by forming ground reinforcing structures 10 in the back-filled ground 1 which is developed by filling a backfill material in the backfill space partitioned by an earth retaining wall 2, to thereby ensure the sufficient ground strength. The ground reinforcing structure 10 is formed of an improved earth material containing a coarse grain material, a hydraulic hardener, and water which are mixed together and hardened. Then the improved earth material is laid between general back-filled earth layers 4 which are back-filled in the back-filled space, near a depth corresponding to a cut beam location arranged in an initial back-filled space so as to have a predetermined layer thickness. Thus deformation of the earth retaining wall 2 toward the back-filled ground is prevented.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a soil sampling apparatus which can collect soil samples in a depth direction, that are necessary at every predetermined work, without hindering execution of deep chemical mixing, by carrying out simple work with safety and without labor, and to provide a soil sampling method.
SOLUTION: According to the structure of the soil sampling apparatus, a cylindrical sampling container 1 opening upward and downward, has a cover 2 arranged in a lower opening 1a thereof such that the cover is swayed upward in the sampling container 1 to open the lower opening 1a and swayed downward to block the lower opening 1a. Then the sampling container 1 is inserted into a hole S in which soil cement is generated, and then the container is stopped at a desired depth, followed by elevating the same. Before the sampling container 1 inserted into the hole S in which the soil cement is generated, is stopped at the desired depth, the soil cement is allowed to pass in the sampling container 1, and therefore the cover 2 maintains its open state. On the other hand when the sampling container 1 is elevated, the cover 2 is closed due to the load of the soil cement, and therefore the soil cement sample at the desired depth is trapped in the sampling container 1.

C)2005,JPO&NCIPI

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply manufacture a solidifier slurry as a soil-improvement material by ensuring constant quality in a site where an in-situ solidifying construction method is conducted.
SOLUTION: A slurry pit 1 is excavated within the improvement predetermined range of a soft-ground surface layer. Water 2 stored in the slurry pit 1 and recycled impalpable powder 4 in a recycled material obtained together with a recycled concrete aggregate by heating a fixed quantity of a concrete waste material charged into water at a fixed temperature and grinding it are agitated and mixed by the upward flow of fine air 3 generated by air supply pipes 10 disposed in upright to the slurry pit 1. Accordingly, the inside of the slurry pit 1 is filled with the solidifier slurry 5, in this way the slurry 5 is manufactured. A soil improvement body 6 is created by solidifying the slurry 5 in the slurry pit 1.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a low-strength, homogeneous, improved subsurface layer that enables recycling of concrete waste.
SOLUTION: Fine powders obtained along with reclaimed aggregate by heating, grinding and classifying concrete waste are admixed with original-position soil or a slurry obtained by adding water to the fine powders is admixed and stirred with the original-position soil on the target subsurface layer to improve the ground for relatively low strength. Also, cement is mixed into the fine powders at a predetermined mixing ratio according to the required strength of the improved subsurface layer to obtain a hardening agent. The hardening agent is formed into a slurry by addition of water and mixed and stirred with the original-position soil to improve the target subsurface layer.
