    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a welding skill evaluation device which enables the detailed knowledge of a molten pool to be obtained through welding training under the visual observation of the molten pool as an image to thereby enable welding skill to be improved in a shorter period of time, and to provide a weld zone quality evaluation device which enables a welding work to be performed while the quality (complete penetration and incomplete penetration on the course of welding) of a weld zone is detected in real time during welding.SOLUTION: The welding skill evaluation device includes: a molten pool observation camera that observes a torch behavior and a molten pool surface behavior; a penetration bead observation camera that moves integrally with the molten pool observation camera and measures the molten state of the reverse side of the molten pool; a torch camera that is mounted to a welding torch and monitors a molten state and an arc state; a whole behavior photographing camera that photographes the posture of a welder; a monitor that displays images captured by these four cameras together with a welding current/voltage signal; a storage unit that stores and analyzes image information taken by the four cameras together with the welding current/voltage signal obtained from a welding current/welding voltage measurement unit; and a welding face shield to which a small monitor for displaying any of the images captured by the four cameras is attached.

    • PURPOSE:To enable an amount of atomization of a nozzle to be measured accurately by providing a throttle at a downstream from a flowmeter of a transport pipe and then applying pressure to an upstream side from the throttle of the transport pipe. CONSTITUTION:A hydrogen peroxide water tank 11 and an atomizing nozzle 12 are connected by a transport pipe 13 and a main transfer pump 14, a flowmeter 15, a needle valve 16, and an electromagnetic type switching valve 17 are provided in the order closer to a side of the tank 11. Then, when the main transfer pump 14 is operated, hydrogen peroxide water is transferred from the tank 11 to the nozzle 12 through the main transfer pump 14, the flowmeter 15, the needle valve 16, and the switching valve 17. By properly adjusting an amount throttle of the needle valve 16 and an amount of discharge of the main transfer pump 14, hydrogen peroxide at an upstream part can be retained to be at a specified pressure by the needle valve 16 within the transport pipe 13, thus preventing air bubbles from being generated within hydrogen peroxide water. Therefore, no air bubbles are contained in hydrogen peroxide water which passes the flowmeter 15 and an amount of atomization of the nozzle 12 can be measured accurately.
