    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicular seat which permits the stability of passengers' bodies to be improved during the running of a vehicle and permits the passengers to easily get on and off the vehicle.
      SOLUTION: The sitting portion 2 of the seat 1 is divided into the center portion 2a of the transverse direction and both side portions 2b and 2b. The position of the center portion 2a is made upwards and downwards adjustable with respect to the side portions 2b and 2b. The backrest portion 3 of the seat 1 is divided into the center portion 3a of the transverse direction and both side portions 3b and 3b. The upper end portions of the side portions 3b are provided on the upper end portion of the center portion 3a rotatably around a horizontal axis extending rightward and leftward, whereby the positions of the lower end portions of the side portions 3b are made forwards and backwards adjustable with respect to the center portion 3a.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple and inexpensive structure capable of mitigating the damage of a sitting person at the time of a back collision in a seat back for vehicles.
      SOLUTION: The respective lower end parts of both side frames 22 are connected through a reclining device 50 to a seat part 10. An upper frame 23 is disposed between the upper end parts of the side frames 22 and a lower frame 24 is disposed between the lower end parts. A frame body 25 extended to the left and right of the lower frame 24 can be curved and deformed in a rear direction by an impact load at the time of the back collision. The frame body 25 is provided with a rib 27 (impact absorbing means) capable of being buckled and deformed by the impact load.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle seat provided with a pad which is prevented from generating poisonous substance even in occurrence of combustion.
      SOLUTION: A pad 20 inside the vehicle seat S consists of a foamed resin of a crosslinked polyethylene. On at least the front face of the pad 20, a three-dimensional net 50 which has higher cushioning property than that of the foamed resin of the crosslinked polyethylene is provided. On both of the sides of a recessed main body 21 of the pad 20 consisting of the foamed resin of the crosslinked polyethylene, raised parts 22 are formed. The three-dimensional net 50 also covers the raised parts 22 on both of the sides across the main part 21 of the pad 20 consisting of the foamed resin of the crosslinked polyethylene.
