    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical scanner and an image forming device for controlling scanning speeds in respective main scanning lines of a photoreceptor at a constant speed, to form a uniform electrostatic latent image on the photoreceptor. SOLUTION: An electric power source voltage control part 24 increases an electric power source voltage Vcc1 supplied to a driving circuit 22, when scanning the main scanning line 4G in a forward direction subsequent to the main scanning line 4E in the forward direction where a forward scanning time K is measured, when the forward scanning time K is later than a reference time X. In contrary, the electric power source voltage control part 24 decreases an electric power source voltage Vcc2 supplied to the driving circuit 22, when scanning the main scanning line 4F of a backward direction subsequent to the main scanning line 4D of the backward direction where a backward scanning time I is measured, when the backward scanning time I is earlier than the reference time X. The scanning speed when scanning the main scanning line 4F in the backward direction, and the scanning speed when scanning the main scanning line 4G in the forward direction become normal as a result thereof. The scanning speed is kept constant in scanning each line of a photoreceptor drum 4. The uniform electrostatic latent image is formed thereby on the photoreceptor drum 4. COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming apparatus capable of specifying a trouble place on a transmission line transmitting image data. SOLUTION: A CPU 10 generates test data for outputting an output image formed from only image data transmitted by one transmission line as to all transmission lines to obtain a set of test data. The CPU 10 transmits 32 pieces of test data included in one set of test data sequentially to a data bus, and makes an image write section 17 output a set of output images formed from the one set of test data. After making the image write section 17 output the one set of output images formed from the one set of test data, the CPU 10 makes a CCD sensor 11 read the one set of output images and receives image data of R, G, and B digitized by an A/D converter 11a through a scanner ASIC 12. The CPU 10 analyzes the received image data of R, G, and B to specify a faulty transmission line. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a differential signal transmission apparatus capable of reducing spurious radiation caused by differential mode current during transmission of differential signals with a balanced cable.
SOLUTION: A resistor R1 is mounted to connect two wiring wires each other arranged on a substrate 11 for connecting between two output terminals of a differential signal driver IC 21 and a twisted-pair cable 2. The differential signal driver IC 21 is a constant current driver, and constant current I1 flows at transmission lines 2a and 2b of the twisted-pair cable 2 by the driver. The constant current I1 shunts so that current I2 flows at the transmission lines 2a and 2b and current I3 flows at the resistor R1. Voltage generated at both ends of the resistor R2 when the current I2 flows is inputted into a differential signal receiver IC 22 as a differential signal. Since the current I2 flowing at the transmission lines 2a and 2b is smaller than the constant current I1, spurious radiation caused by current flowing at the twisted-pair cable 2 is reduced.
