    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the rotating electric machine which can effectively utilize a space of the electric machine with the rotating electric machine arranged by suppressing increasing of occupied volume of the rotating electric machine.
      SOLUTION: A slot insulator 15 is integrally formed with a holder mounting part 25 with a total unit or a major part positioned on one end surface of a yoke 11 of a stator core 7. A plurality of connection parts 30, constituted by connecting leader of windings respectively corresponding to core wires of lead wires 29, are arranged in a connection holding part 27a with a prescribed space apart so as to not come into contact with each other and the connection holding part 27a is provided in a lead wire holder 27. The lead wire holder 27 is constituted with the connection holding part 27a so as to be positioned on partial winding 9 and a holder mounting part 25 in a condition that the lead wire holder 27 is mounted in the holder mounting part 25. One end bracket opposed to one end surface of the yoke is formed with a recess opened toward both sides in an axial direction further opened toward outside in a diametric direction of a rotary shaft to receive the holder mounting part 25 and the lead wire holder 27 in the recess.

      SOLUTION: The leading edge 21a of a lead wire holder 21 in the direction reverse to the extending direction of six lead wires 27 thereof is inserted from an insertion opening 29a toward a concave surface 45c. After entering the concave surface 45c, the leading edge is gotten out of the concave surface 45c and entered between the opposing surface 43a of a hook 43 and the base 37b of a holder containing portion. Consequently, the backside of the trailing edge 21b located on the side opposite to the leading edge 21a of the lead wire holder 21 touches a portion 45b of the end face of a partition wall 39, and the end face of the trailing edge 21b opposes a protrusion 47, thus containing a portion of the six lead wires 27 in each of six lead wire containing portions 31.
