摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems: incineration ash containing a harmful substance is charged into an intermittent fluidized-bed pyrolysis apparatus and is made harmless in vacuum, however the harmful substance not yet rendered harmless such as dioxin is recovered together with condensed water in a cooling apparatus arranged in the preceding stage of a vacuum pump for producing vacuum and sometimes the condensed water exceeds the environmental effluent standard due to the operating condition of the intermittent fluidized-bed pyrolysis apparatus. SOLUTION: An apparatus for rendering liquid waste harmless has a heating part in a vacuum system for actualizing vacuum, so that liquid waste containing the harmful substance is atomized, the atomized liquid waste is decompressed to remove oxygen and the oxygen-removed liquid waste is heated and made harmless. An internal cooling part is arranged for cooling steam, which is obtained by injecting nitrogen into an atmosphere of the vacuum system to keep the pressure of the vacuum system higher than the triple point of water and closer to the atmospheric pressure and heating the water under such the pressure, to condense the steam into water and recovering the condensed water. SOLUTION: According to this detoxifying apparatus of the injurious substance, a treating chamber in which vacuum can be realized has an infra-red heat treating chamber therein, and a certain amount of the injurious substance is pooled in a before-internal-processing reservoir and thereafter is subjected to vacuum anoxia to be heat-harmlessness treated. Further, the detoxifying is carried out by a batch processing as one cycle composing a throwing-in of the injurious substance into the heat treating chamber, reducing pressure, heating harmlessness treatment, pressure return, and discharging. The treatment is carried out under nitrogen atmosphere instead of treating in air, and nitrogen removes oxygen pooled and mixed in a nitrogen storage case by a nitrogen manufacturing means to increase the purity of nitrogen. Further, the harmlessness treatment is carried out by a method for making the injurious substance pass through the infra-red heat treating chamber and heating it with the infra-red ray. In the structure of the apparatus, two shielding valves which seal the crucibles are set in respective inlet and outlet parts for charging and discharging a substance to be treated, and the charge and discharge of a treatment substance and the vacuum sealing of the crucibles are made compatible in an intermediate vacuum correction chamber. The apparatus has a suction means which carries out suction from the crucibles and two suction systems which carry out suction from the vacuum correction chamber. By dividing the substance to be treated into two processes of moisture drying and pyrolysis by providing a cooling container and a trap between it and the suction means, process efficiency can be improved, and the operation can be stabilized.
