The intersection of the first optical axis and the second optical axis is below the device surface 108.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve a problem that thickness and usage of an optical navigation module are limited.SOLUTION: An optical navigation module includes: a light source that is disposed on a substrate defining a reference surface vertical with respect to an operation surface and is configured to project light to a lateral side of the substrate; an optical sensor mounted on the substrate; an optical structural member; and an optical shield that separates the light source and the optical sensor spatially and includes an opening. The optical structural member has a structure in which light projected from the light source onto an object is guided so that at least a part of light diffused by the object passes through the opening of the optical shield and reaches the optical sensor.
