SOLUTION: An organic solvent based thermosetting 1st colored coating material B containing a neutralized material of a polycarboxylic acid resin having 5-100 mgKOH/g acid value and an amino resin is applied on the outside and inside both plates of an automobile body having a coating film formed by applying a cationic electrodeposition coating material A and hardening by heating and, after a thermosetting 2nd colored coating material C and a thermosetting aq. transparent coating material D are successively applied on the outside plate, the coating material B, C and D are hardened at the same time by heating and a thermosetting transparent coating material E is applied further on the outside plate and the coating film is hardened by heating.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remove dust and particles adhering to an intermediate coating by polishing and make it no need of heating a coating formed for repairing the part from which dust and particles are removed by polishing the part of the intermediate coating face to be repaired and repairing and coating the polished part with a thermosetting organic solvent type repairing coating material containing a neutralized material of a hydroxyl group-containing resin with a specified acid value and a cross-linking agent. SOLUTION: An electrodeposition coating material A and an intermediate coating material B are applied and cured by heating and after that, the intermediate coating face is repaired and coated. Then, a while color type aqueous base coat C, a pearly base coat D produced by mixing flaky mica powder coated with titanium oxide, and a clear coat E are applied by wet-on-wet method and heated to simultaneously cross- link and cure the coatings of the coating materials C, D, and E and to form a coating film constituted of a plurality of layers. At the time of forming the coating film, the part of the intermediate coating face to be repaired is polished and the polished part is repaired and coated with a thermosetting organic solvent type repairing coating material F containing a neutralized material of a hydroxyl group-containing resin with an acid value of 5-100 mg KOH/g and a cross-linking agent.

The aqueous dispersion is a composition containing an aluminum flake pigment, an agent for making a coating passive, an amine compound, a hydrophilic organic solvent, and water.
