摘要： PURPOSE:To provide a screw performance and yield of which can be improved, and manufacture thereof. CONSTITUTION:A blade part 2 made of aluminum alloy formed with helical projections is provided on the outer circumference of a shaft 1 (coefficient of linear expansion 17X10 / deg.C) made of stainless steel (SUS304) material of diameter 20-40mm. The blade part 2 is a clad composed of two layers, an inner layer material 2a (coefficient of linear expansion 16-17.5X10 / deg.C) made of powder alloy of low hot working adaptability, and an outer layer material 2b (coefficient of linear expansion 20X10 / deg.C) made of melt alloy of high hot working adaptability. When the thickness of the inner layer material 2a is set more than 3mm, it is easy to hold the strength due to shrinkage fiting. If the inner layer material 2a occupies from the center of projection height to the outside, the possibility generating a crack at hot rolling is increased. Considering the hot working adaptability at rolling, it is favorable that the inner layer material 2a is formed so as not to appeare on the surface.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate and improve joining between an aluminum alloy and a rapidly solidified powder alloy in an internal combustion engine piston having a skirt section made of an aluminum alloy and a trap land made of a rapidly solidified powder alloy. SOLUTION: For a billet 1, an aluminum alloy 5 is injected in a center and a rapidly solidified powder alloy 7 are injected in its periphery concetric- circularlly in a can 3. Then, the billet 1 is subjected extrusion machining and thereby an extruded material 9 is obtained. Then, molding is performed for the extruded material 9, a skirt section is formed by the layer of the aluminum alloy 5 and a trap land is formed by the layer of the rapidly solidified powder alloy 7. By this extrusion machining, the aluminum alloy 5 and the rapidly solidified powder alloy 7 are firmly jointed together easily.

CONSTITUTION:In the rotor 1 for a super charger, which is composed of a wane section 3 made of an Al alloy, and of a shaft section 2 made of steel, the core section 4 of the wane section 3, which is in contact with the shaft section 2, is formed out of an alloy in a quench solidified Al-Si series, and the rest of the wane section 3 excluding the core section 4 is formed out of an Al-Si alloy which is formed by a solution casting method, and is excellent in cutting property. In this case, the core section 4 is preferably formed out of an Al alloy which is composed of constituents including 15 to 19% Si, 4 to 8% Fe, 3 to 6% Cu and 0.2 to 2% Mg, (Si+Fe) the total content of which is 20 to 26%, remaining Al, and of inevitable impurities, and the rest is formed out of an Al alloy which is composed of constituents each content of which is less than 11 to 14% Si, 0.5 to 1.3% Cu, 0.8 to 1.3% Mg, 0.5 to 1.3% Ni and 1% Fe, remaining Al, and of inevitable impurities.

CONSTITUTION: This sintered compact is made of an Al alloy contg. 14-30% Si. The average grain size of Si grains existing in the matrix of the alloy is =99% of the true density of the Al alloy. Alloy powder is put into a compacting mold and compressed by applying 10-200MPa pressure and the resultant compact is sintered by heating to >350 to 500 deg.C with a supplied pulsating current under pressure.
