    • PURPOSE: To provide a titled device which can blow off a plating liquid as uniformly as possible in the transverse direction of a strip by providing plural pieces of holes for blowing off the plating liquid, dash-boards for the blown-off plating liquid and plural guide plates in the longitudinal direction of a cylindrical header extending in the transverse direction of the strip.
      CONSTITUTION: The plural holes 11 are perforated at, for example, equal intervals in the longitudinal direction of the cylindrical header 10 to be connected to a plating liquid supply pipe and the guide plates 11 are installed between the holes 11. The top end of each plate 12 is preferably formed to a convergent tapered shape. The components in the flow direction of the jets injected from the holes 11 are removed by the plates 12 constituted in the above-mentioned manner. As a result, the nonuniform flow can be surely and effectively prevented. The relative speed between the plating liquid and the strip surface is thereby increased and since the nonuniform flow in the transverse direction of the strip is decreased, the product having the uniform and good plating quality in the transverse direction of the header is efficiently pro duced. Auxiliary guide plates 13 may be provided for supporting and reinforcing the plates 12 and regulating the flow. In the figure, 14 is the dash-board to allow the plating liquid injected from the holes 11 to collide against the board.

    • PURPOSE:To prevent a material to be plated from contacting with electrodes and to form a plating layer having excellent quality in an electroplating line by providing a rib just behind a nozzle for injecting a plating liquid and providing return ports for the plating liquid on both sides thereof. CONSTITUTION:A plating liquid is ejected from the nozzles 51, 52 of an anode 2 facing a plate 1 to be plated such as a steel plate while said plate is moved in the direction alpha then electricity is conducted between said anode and the plate 1 to electroplate the steel plate. A rib 14 is projected near the nozzle 51 toward the plate 1 and return ports 8' for the plating liquid are provided before and behind the same. The plating liquid gushing the nozzle 51 forms counter current in the moving direction of the plate 1 and increases the relative speed between both. The part of the forward flow 13 is short and the liquid is returned through the ports 8' into the circulating path. The plating liquid 12 gushing from the nozzle 52 is directed to the port 8' by the rib 14 and forms therefore counter current thereby increasing the relative speed. The plating layer having excellent quality is thus formed and the contact of the anode 2 with the steel plate 1 which is the cathode is prevented by the presence of the rib 14.
