摘要： PURPOSE:To prolong the life of the titled apparatus by preventing the seizure between a member to be inspected and a magnetic pole surface, by providing a transmitting- receiving coil to an iron core equipped with the magnetic pole surface and forming a hardened layer to the magnetic pole surface. CONSTITUTION:A piercing hole 12 is formed in an iron core 11 and a DC exciting coil 14, and a transmitting-receiving coil 15 are arranged to the groove part of said iron core 11. Further a magnetic pole is formed corresponding to the transmitting- receiving coil 15 and guides 18B are respectively provided to the feed-in and feed-out ends of the iron core 11. First and second hardened layers 25, 26 are provided to the inner surface of the piercing hole 12 and a descaler 20 is provided to the feed-in end of the iron core 11 and a nozzle 22 is mounted to said descaler 20. A steel pipe 21 being a material to be inspected is passed through the piercing hole 12 from the descaler 20 and the flaw detection thereof is performed by the DC exciting coil 14 and the transmitting-receiving coil 15. Even if the steel pipe 21 has burr at this time, because said burr is contacted with the hardened layers 25, 26, no shaved waste is generated and scale is removed by high pressure water from the nozzle 22. Because the hardened layers 25, 26 are provided, the seizuring between the steel pipe and an electromagnetic ultrasonic measuring apparatus is prevented to make it possible to prolong the life of said apparatus.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prolong the life of a transmitting-receiving coil, by extending a first magnetic pole part and a second magnetic pole part unit lapping both parts to each other and arranging the transmitting-receiving coil between both lapped magnetic pole parts. CONSTITUTION:A member to be inspected, for example, a steel pipe 6 moves through a central hole along an arrow direction X. An N-magnetic pole 8 and an S-magnetic pole 9 are arranged in opposed relationship through a gap 7 having a protruded and recessed shape formed to the intermediate part of the inner surface of the central hole. A plurality of first magnetic pole parts 12 and second magnetic pole parts 13 are mutually lapped and a plurality of gaps are formed in the circumferential direction between the first magnetic pole parts 12 and the second magnetic pole parts 13. The gaps for inhibiting the movement of the steel pipe 6 in the moving direction X of said steel pipe are not formed between both magnetic poles and, because the steel pipe 6 moves between both lapped magnetic poles, said steel pipe 6 is not contacted with a transmitting-receiving coil 17 to prevent the damage thereof and the life of the transmitting-receiving coil 17 can be prolonged.

摘要： PURPOSE:To reduce the number of parts of a lifting magnet apparatus equipped with a battery as an emergency power source and make the apparatus compact, by enabling the use of a DC power source not only for energizing a magnet but also for charging the battery. CONSTITUTION:When the magnet 8 is energized, an a-contact 7a of a forwardly energizing contactor is closed to form a main circuit and an auxiliary a-contact 7a' of the contactor is closed for an automatic pulse phase shifter 5. At that time, the voltage of a constant voltage source 6 is selectively changed by a controller 6' and supplied as an instruction voltage to alter an output DC voltage, and the battery 13 is not chaged because a b-contact 7b of the contactor is open. When the magnet is de-energized, the a-contact 7a is opened and the b-contact 7b is closed to form a charging circuit. At the same time, a prescribed instruction voltage is obtained from the constant voltage source 6 through a resistor 6'' to produce an output DC voltage to charge the battery.

摘要： PURPOSE:To provide an arrangement for lifting magnet, in which slits are formed in the iron core of magnet to prevent deflection of magnetic flux in the iron core, whereby magnetic force can be exerted uniformly and the magnet itself is made compact and light. CONSTITUTION:Iron core 1 is formed with slits having a depth (h) and a width W corresponding to the width of billets (a)-(e). When coil 2 is energized to attract the billets (a)-(e) to the magnet, magnetic flux is caused in the billets. Here, by the effect of slits (w), deflection of magnetic flux is not caused in the iron core 1 and magnetic flux is generated for each billet. For billet (d), for instance, magnetic force is acted through gap (g). Thus, all of the billets can be attraacted to the magnet, without generating excessive magnetic flux, so that magnet can be made compact and light.

摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent a switch from being cut off while it is closed even when a control switch is not actuated by a failure of a control device and to stably supply electric power to a load by installing a backup switch which is actuated when the control switch is not actuated and which excites an exciting coil. CONSTITUTION:When a making switch 1 is closed, a timer 16 starts a set time; when a control device 6 is set to a failure state of an open mode while is it actuated, a control switch 7 is set to an open state. Input gates 13A, 13B of an AND circuit 13 are input at a high level; an output appears at an input gate 13C; the output is input to a base 14B, turns on a transistor 14 and holds a holding circuit 18. When the transistor 14 is turned on, an electric current from an exciting coil 4 flows to an emitter 14E via a collector 14C. As a result, the exciting coil 4 can be excited. Consequently, even when the control device 6 is broken down, the exciting coil 4 can be excited by a backup circuit 12, and a making state of an electromagnetic contactor can be held.
