    • PURPOSE:To make possible the approach of the square billet to be stably guided, by arranging the stationary guide for bearing the adjoining two planes of the square billet and the flexible, movable guide for bearing other two planes, in the approach guide for the square billet. CONSTITUTION:The stationary guides 13, are attached to the frame 12 of L-type section in order to bear the bottom plane lowering its temperature faster than other planes, and to bear one side plane; the movable guides 16, are attached to the frame 14 of L-type section through the coil spring 15, for bearing other two planes keeping higher temperatures than other planes. The center of the billet 1 displaces from A-B owing to the pressure of the press machine. The center of the piercing plug is located so as to point A; however, the piercing plug pierces the billet moving toward the interior of the billet being held at higher temperatures and showing less resistance force; hereby, the eccentricity of thus prepared hollow blank pipe becomes small. And then, the square billet 1 with enlarged sectional area is smoothly guided into the hot piercing plant.

    • PURPOSE:To manage the original effectively by printing the orginal serial number on the transmitting original by the provision of the printing printer for the end of the original on the transmission device. CONSTITUTION:When the end of the transmission original 1 passes through the original reading device 9 in the vicinity of the feed roller 5, the command from the external portion is received to stop the original temporarily. The transfer hammer 16 in the external frame contacts the outer circumference of the cam 18 by the spring 17 and the cam 18 rotates centering the rotary axis 19. The solenoid supporting stand 21 is a fulcrum of the circular movement of the stopper 20 to support the solenoid 22. According to such a construction, the printing can be done without requiring the man labour.

    • PURPOSE:To make a mill capable of having a large crown or shape controlling capability by providing an interposing block which moves vertically with a roll chock and making the block vertically movable through a shifting frame. CONSTITUTION:For a rolling material with large sheet thickness, a roll chock 15 of a backup roll 13 is lifted through a lifting arm 18, and an interposing block 19 is also lifted by the chock 15. In this case, because a roll chock 16 of an upper roll 14 is lifted together with the block 19, there causes no special change in the positional relation between the chock 16 and the block 19 which supports the chock 16 through hydraulic cylinders 21. Accordingly, a roll bending work is sufficiently performed without being influenced by the change of the height of work roll 14 even when the roll 14 is largely opened.
