    • PURPOSE: To prevent the temp. deviation at the front end of a preceding material in the case where steel sheets including the preceding material and succeeding material varying in heat absorption characteristics are subjected to combustion control to attain a target sheet temp. by passing these steel sheets through an annealing furnace. CONSTITUTION: A changeover switch 11 is connected to a sheet temp. dependency control section 10 side. This control section controls the combustion quantity R to a burner 5 by supplying an opening degree control signal ΔQS for matching the sheet temp. TS from a sheet thermometer 8 with the target sheet temp. TS0 from the control section 13 to a flow rate control valve 6. The changeover switch is connected to a zone temp. dependency control section 9 side when the sheet junction point arrives at the prescribed control changeover position H in a combustion zone. The control section supplies an opening degree control signal AQZ to the valve 6 so as to maintain the target zone temp. with the zone temp. TZ from a thermocouple 7 of this time as the target zone temp. The changeover switch 11 is reset at the initial position and the valve is controlled by the signal from the sheet temp. dependency control section when the sheet junction point passes a zone outlet. Since the sheet temp. of the sheet junction part is controlled by the zone temp. dependency, the temp. deviation at the front end of the succeeding material is prevented.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To correct a large meandering quantity in a short time. SOLUTION: This is a correcting device for the meandering of a steel strip (s) which is varied in a carrying direction by twining around an inlet carrying roller 11 and an outlet carrying roller 12. The correcting device is equipped with a turning mechanism 20 which concentrically rotates each of the inlet carrying roller 11 and the outlet carrying roller 12 within a horizontal plane by providing a turning frame for supporting each of the shaft boxes 13a-14b of the inlet carrying roller 11 and the outlet arraying roller 12 within a horizontal plane and turning supporters 24a, 24b for rotating the turning frame within the horizontal plane, and a tilting mechanism 30 for tilting the inlet carrying roller 12 to the surface of the steel strip (s) during thr rotation of the inlet carrying roller 11 and the outlet carrying roller 12 through the turning mechanism 20 by providing a tilting motor cylinder 31 which is loaded on the turning frame and rises and lowers the shaft box 13b of the inlet carrying roller 11.

    • PURPOSE:To perform centering without bending even a thin steel belt by measuring a displaced amount of the center of a steel belt, and moving in a direction of reducing the displaced amount a clamp mechanism holding upper/lower surfaces interposed of the steel belt. CONSTITUTION:A center displaced amount of a steel belt is measured by a center displacement measuring mechanism 21, and based on these measuring results, centers of the first/second guide roll units 63, 64 are aligned to a center of the steel belt, further to adjust a space of the guide roll units 63, 64. Here by actuating a quick cylinder 62a extended, only the first guide roller unit 63 is made adjacent to a small distance from an edge of the steel belt. Next by upper/lower rollers 33, 34 of a clamp mechanism 31, after the steel belt is clamped, both the guide roller units 63, 64 and upper/lower rollers 33, 34 are moved upward, to reduce center displacement of the steel belt. Thereafter, only the upper/lower rollers 33, 34 are placed in an opening condition and returned A back to the original position. By repeating an operation in the above, the center of the steel belt is made to approach the target center.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain a high-strength and inexpensive high-temp. wear-resistant structure excellent in resistance to heat and wear by pressing and clamping the laminate of inorg. formed sheets consisting inorg. fiber, inorg. powder and a binder and bearing the laminate with a metallic casing. CONSTITUTION:A high-temp. wear-resistant structure to be provided at the outlet of the furnace of a continuous heat-treating device for steel sheet, etc., is produced as follows. Namely, inorg. fiber, inorg. powder, a binder and water are mixed to form the slurry. A coagulant is admixed with the slurry to form an aggregate, the aggregate is formed into a wet sheet, the sheet is pressed and dehydrated to obtain an inorg. formed sheet having 0.5 to 1.1g/cm bulk density, and the sheet is blanked in a desired shape and dried. A large number of the obtained inorg. formed sheets 1 are laminated and press-bonded to obtain a laminate 100, a shaft 2 is allowed to pierce the laminate, and the laminate 100 is pressed and clamped with a collar 3 provided at the rear end and a pressing plate 4 mounted on the front end. A high-temp. wear-resistant structure 10 having 0.8 to 1.5g/cm bulk density is obtained in this way, and the lower part of the laminate 100 is borne in a metallic casing 35.
