摘要： PURPOSE:To prevent the disengagement of pawls from the outside grooves of an adapter and to reduce the size and cost of an optical connector ferrule by providing the pawl parts which project inward and outward to a spring holder and coupling the pawl parts projecting outward to the groove parts on the inside surface of a case. CONSTITUTION:The spring holder 20 which holds a pressurizing spring 5 for pressing the single fiber side optical connector ferrule 4 to the axial direction has the pawl parts 22a, 22b projecting inward. These pawl parts couple to the outside grooves provided on the outside surface of the adapter housing the optical connector ferrule. The outside surface of the spring holder comes into contact with the inside surface of the case housing the same on the plane. The gripping and fixing of the pressurizing spring to press the optical connector ferrule to the axial direction is thereby assured and the miniaturization is contrived.

摘要： PURPOSE:To attain rigid fixing preventing a tensile strength fiber from being loosened by clamping and fixing a tensile strength fiber press whose inside is worked like a taper by a tensile strength fiber clamping nut from the outside of the fiber so that the fiber is held between the nut and a press ring. The tensile strength fiber press 15 having a taper to be engaged with the taper part of the press ring 13 in its inside is arranged on the back of the ring 14 and the press 15 clamps and fixes the fiber 4 by the tensile strength fiber clamping nut 16 screwed with the press 15 so that the fiber 4 is held between the nut 16 and the press ring 13. Consequently, looseness of the tensile strength fiber in the optical connector can be easily removed and the fiber can be rigidly fixed.

Consequently, the extremely easy and speedy terminal coupling is realized by the small-sized, simply constitution.

The pin pressing member 10 deforms slightly to form a hollow that the positioning pin 4 is adhered. Consequently, the positioning with stability becomes possible with the simple structure without spoiling the accuracy of optical path switching.

The deformation quantity of the guide pin clamping parts 21 is extremely small, the equivalent spring constant is large, and the nonlinear spring characteristics are obtained. Consequently, the breakage strength of the optical fiber guide member 1 can be improved.
