摘要： PURPOSE: To easily dig a trench even at the top of a slope of an embankment or at the side edge of a road, by a method wherein a trencher attachment is formed so as to be placed to a trencher base body voluntarily in an offset state. CONSTITUTION: An upper machine 3 is placed horizontally and swingably on a lower traveling machine 2 through a ball race 6. A trencher attachment 18 is extensionally provided at the end part of an arm 10 for the upper machine 3. The trencher attachment 18 is tiltably formed by extending or retracting attachment cylinders 20, 20, and is formed horizontally swingably arround a vertical pin 12 acting as a supporting point by extending or retracting an offset cylinder 17. When the upper machine 3 is turned by an angle of +θ, and at the same time when the trencher attachment 18 is turned by an angle of -θto the arm 10 by retracting the offset sylinder 17, the trencher attachment 18 is placed at the outer end part of a left-side crawler in an offset state.

摘要： PURPOSE: To prevent earth and sand from being removed on the outside of a slope surface or a road, and to facilitate the work of backfilling them, in the case where a trench is being digged along the top of a slope of an embankment, the side edge of a road, or the like by a trencher. CONSTITUTION: In the case where the top of a slope of an embankment, the side edge of a road, or the like is on the right side of a trencher, a left-handed screw 34 is mounted on a trencher attachment as an earth-removing screw. A rotary shaft 37 for the left-handed screw 34 is arranged so as to cross at right angles to the trencher attachment, and an earth-removing plate 38 in screw shape which is along the rotary shaft 37 and extends over the full length of the rotary shaft 37 is formed clockwise as the plate 38 approaches the near side, when viewed from the left side (L). The left-side surface of the earth-removing plate 38 is formed by press working in the shape of such a curved surface that the earth and sand digged can be most efficiently conveyed to the left side (L), and thus an earth-removing surface 38a is formed. When left-handed screw 34 is turned counterclockwise, when viewed from the left side (L), the earth and sand are pushed out by the earth-removing surface 38a, and all of them are removed on the left side (L), and are not removed on the top of a slop at the right side (R) or on the outside of the road.

摘要： PURPOSE: To dig a groove along the top of slope of banking and the end edge of a road easily by use of a trencher and to faciliate back filling. CONSTITUTION: In the case where the top of slope of banking and the end edge of a road is located on the left (L) of a trencher 11, an upper rotary body 13 is rotated only in a +θ arc, and a trencher attachment 28 is rotated only in a -θ arc. Thus, the trencher attachment 28 is offset to the outside end part of a left crowler 14. A right hand screw 35 is installed as an earth removal screw. The trencher 11 is shifted to the top of slope and the end edge of a road to dig a groove 38. All the excavated sediment is displaced to the right (R) of the trencher by the right hand screw 35.
