    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing an aqueous ionic compound solution, capable of decreasing an amount of a desired cation salt to be used and further capable of decreasing salts other than the desired cation salt by one-step membrane separation.
      SOLUTION: This method for producing the aqueous ionic compound solution includes processes (a) to (c) as follows: (a) a process for mixing an aqueous solution containing an ionic compound having a water-soluble group with a hydrophobic amine and a hydrophobic organic solvent and conditioning the mixture to be strongly acidic, so as to obtain an organic phase containing a salt of an anion formed out of the ionic compound and an ion formed out of the hydrophobic amine; (b) a process for mixing the organic phase obtained by the process (a) with a compound containing a cation as an aqueous solution and conducting liquid separation, so as to obtain an aqueous phase containing a salt of the anion formed out of the ionic compound and the cation; and (c) a process for removing an inorganic salt from the aqueous phase obtained by the process (b) by an electrodialyzer, so as to obtain an aqueous solution containing an anion of which the counter ion is the cation and which is formed out of the ionic compound.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for obtaining a polyarylene resin containing an ion exchange group having a good shape.
      SOLUTION: The method for obtaining a polyarylene resin containing an ion exchange group includes: a precipitation step of dropwise adding a polyarylene solution containing an ion exchange group from a nozzle having a pore diameter of 1 mm or more but 4 mm or less, placed so as to be not less than 0.5 m in height from the liquid level of a poor solvent, to the poor solvent; and a collection step of collecting the polyarylene resin containing an ion exchange group precipitated in the poor solvent. The polyarylene resin containing an ion exchange group has a granular or threadlike shape having a cross section with a longer diameter of from 1 mm to 5 mm and a ratio between the longer diameter and the length of the cross section, ranging from 1:1 to 1:100.

By using the concentration calculated thereby, the viscosity of the polymeric compound solution can be easily controlled.
