    • PURPOSE:To provide the titled stopping system where a twisted pair type induction wireless cable for data transmission is provided over the whole traveling path of a coke oven moving machine, the position of said machine being detected continuously, and an operation being carried out to determine the distance to the nearest oven, thus stopping said machine in a short time in high accuracy. CONSTITUTION:The objective stopping system is as follows: a twisted pair type induction wireless cable 3 capable of data transmission is provided over the whole traveling path of a coke oven moving machine, and an absolute address position of said machine is detected at a position detecting section 5, through said cable 3, using a continuous position detecting mechanism by such absolute address detection system as to receive, by an antenna 4, signals being emitted from an oscillator 1 on the ground. Thence, based on each oven number central address stored in the control section of the control device 2 on said machine and the position information detected, an operation is carried out at an operation section 6 to determine the distances from the present position to the nearest oven and oven number center, respectively, the resulting values being shown on the display 7 in the driving room of said machine, and based on these values, said machine being stopped at the objective oven center by the driver.

    • PURPOSE:To ensure safe operation of a coke oven, by generating pulse signals at regular intervals during the forward motion of a pushing ram of a pusher, checking the pulse signal by a mobile station on the pusher, checking the transfer distance by a mobile station on a quencher and immediately stopping the motion of the quencher in the case of abnormality. CONSTITUTION:The objective coke oven has a decentralized automatic control mechanism consisting of a mobile station on a pusher and a mobile station on a quencher in addition to a stationary station. In the above coke oven, pulse signals are generated during the forward motion of a pushing ram of a pusher 2 at regular intervals of the moving distance by a rotary limit switch 10 attached to the ram. The mobile station 8 on the pusher checks whether the pulse signals are generated at regular time intervals during the forward motion of the pushing ram and the mobile station 9 on the quencher checks the traversing distance of the quencher 3 at regular time intervals from the start of the coke receipt. When the checked value is out of prescribed range, the mobile station transmits the abnormality signal in the operation of the coke receipt and the stationary station 7 commands the emergency stop of the pushing ram through an IR cable 6-1 to stop the forward motion of the pushing ram. At the same time, the quencher 3 is also stopped by the emergency stop signal transmitted to the mobile station 9 on the quencher through an IR cable 6-2.

    • PURPOSE:To operate a coke guide dust collector efficiently, by sucking under specified conditions a dust-containing gas emitted at the time of coke pushing. CONSTITUTION:When a coke guide 7 and a quenching car 14 stop at prescribed positions of a coke oven and the preparation for coke pushing is complete, a pushing schedule 1-1 and a riser temperature signal 1-2 measured with a riser thermometer 13 are put into a combustion controlling CPU:1 to judge the finished state of coal carbonization. A signal 2-1 indicating the finished state of coal carbonization is put into a coke oven automation CPU:2, which determines the air flow for dust collection based on the degree of coking/amount of emitted dust curve stored as its internal data 2-3. On the other hand, a pushing rack position signal 2-2 determined with a pushing rack position detector 15 is put into the CPU:2, which controls so that a dust collecting blower 4 is operated at the rated air flow immediately after the start of pushing, then at a reduced suction air flow during pushing until a time just before the completion of pushing, and thereafter at the rated air flow.
