    • PURPOSE:To smoothly open and close a shutter with a small force at the time of cartridge insertion by making the center of rotation of a rotary arm, constituting the shutter opening and closing mechanism, movable and freely determining the movement track of an opening/closing pin for moving the rotary arm by the shape of a slot formed in a guide. CONSTITUTION:When the disk cartridge 1 is inserted into a cartridge holder 10, the tip part of the cartridge 1 presses the opening/closing pin 13, which is linearly moved in a slanting direction along the guide slot 14 by the rotation of the rotary arm 11 against the force of a tension coil spring 17. Thus, the pin 13 is engaged the operation part 7 of the shutter 5 by abutting to press the operation part 7 laterally, thereby sliding the shutter 5 in its opening direction. The shape of the slot 14 is so determined that the shutter 5 is fully open when the cartridge 5 is inserted almost by a half and the cartridge 1 is moved to the deepest part while the shutter is held in the fully open state. When the cartridge 1 is drawn out of the holder 10, the shutter 5 is automatically closed with the force of the spring 17.

    • PURPOSE:To obtain correction data for black shading without using a special film for black shading correction by taking the correction data for black shading from the non-image part of a negative film. CONSTITUTION:Before starting image pickup, a CCD line sensor 5 is moved to a position where a shielding panel is provided to pick up an image, white reference data are obtained and stored in a white correction data memory 17, red light irradiates a negative film 1, the CCD line sensor 5 is moved in the direction B, a non-image part 1 (a) of the negative film 1 is picked up to obtain black reference data with the red irradiation light, and the obtained data are stored in a black correction data memory 16. The shading correction of the image data with the red irradiation light which is obtained by taking up the image of an image part 1(b) of the negative film 1 based on the white reference data and the black reference data with the red irradiation light, is performed and the image data are stored in a frame memory 10.
