    • PURPOSE: To enable the cope with products having various kinds of shapes and dimensions by holding a product, which is housed between opened arms, for fixation with the arms, which are always energized into the closing condition by the reaction force of a compression coil spring. CONSTITUTION: In the case of shot-blasting a product such as a cylinder block of engine, a connecting rod 12 is pushed by the extension work of a cylinder 22, resisting a compression coil spring 15, so as to open arms 8, 9 and product pressers 16, 17, and the product is housed between the product pressers 16, 17. With the housing work of the cylinder 22, the connecting rod 12 is returned to the original condition by the compression coil spring 15, and the housed product is held for fixation by the product pressers 16, 17 in the energized condition by the compression coil spring 15. Thereafter, the product, which is transferred to the shoot-blasting position, is placed on a usual means such as a roller, which is provided with a rotating means, at the shot-blasting position, and rotated within the vertical surface for surface treatment.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make the flexure of arms as small as possible by pin-connecting a connecting rod between the lower part of a lower clamping member and a rotor so as to form parallel crank mechanism of the rotor, the arms, grip members and the connecting rod, and separately disposing support mechanism for supporting the clamping member lowered by the specified height. SOLUTION: A cylinder 21 is put in elongating action to open upper and lower grip members 16, 17, and a treated article W is placed on the lower grip member 17 by a carry-in/out means. Since a rotor 13 in a fixed state, a pair of arms 15 and a pair of links 19 form parallel crank mechanism, the grip member 17 is lowered almost horizontally and supported by a supporting member 23. The cylinder 21 is then put in contracting action to bring both grip members 16, 17 and upper and lower clamping members 18 close to each other to clamp the treated article W. While rotating the treated article W within a vertical plane by the rotor 13, both arms 15, 15, both grip members 16, 17, and the like, shot is projected from a shot centrifugal device to carry out blasting treatment.

    • PURPOSE: To maintain the amount of article W per hour, which is to be treated and casted into a continuous blasting machine, almost constant by measuring the amount of the article carried onto a casting conveyor and controlling the transfer speed of the casting conveyor based on the amount of the article carried onto the conveyor. CONSTITUTION: A continuous blasting machine 1, a belt conveyor 3, and a vibration conveyor 9 are operated, so that the articles W are sequently carried onto the belt conveyor 3 from the viblation conveyor 9. Then, using a road cell 5, the weight of the belt conveyor 3 and the articles W carried onto the belt conveyor 3 are continuously measured, and the measured value is sent to a controller 10. Further, the deviation of the measured value from the predetermined value is calculated in the controller 10, and then, if the deviation is found to be within a predetermined range, the transfer speed of the belt conveyor 3 is changed by means of an induction motor 7 in accordance with the deviation, so that the amount of the article W casted per hour into the continuous blasting machine is maintained almost constant.

Here, the processed article W, by the outer side clamp member 29 in the case of large size, by the inner side clamp member 29 in the case of small size, is clamped respectively by point contact.
