    • PURPOSE: To coat the threaded part provided to the inner surface of a pipe with a lubricant automatically and uniformly, by blowing out the lubricant to a pipe end from a nozzle being advanced and retracted as well as rotated in a relative relation to the axial direction of the pipe.
      CONSTITUTION: A nozzle mechanism 5 is rotated by the motor 40 of a drive mechanism 4 provided to a movable table 2 on a rail 1. A support cylinder 51 fixed to the table 2 of the mechanism 5 has a grease supply orifice 52 at the center thereof and a gas supply port 53 at the intermediate part thereof. A nozzle head 56 formed by inlaying an inner and an outer pipes 57, 58 are attached to the front end of a cylinder 55 supported by the periphery of the cylinder 51 in a exchangeable manner. In addition, a blow- out port part 63 having a gas blow-out port 62 is attached to the periphery of the leading end part of a short pipe 61 inserted into the cross orifice of the pipe 57. In this state, the leading end of a pipe joint C screwed into a pipe P with a thread part is transferred so as to be almost coincided with a reference surface L and the table 2 is advanced by a cylinder mechanism 3 to insert the head 56 into the joint C while the cylinder 55 is rotated by the motor 40. The grease is extruded from the leading end of the pipe 61 through the orifices 52, 59 and, at the same time, compressed air is supplied to the orifice 53 to blow out the grease G.

    • PURPOSE: To coat the threaded parts provided to the outer surface of a pipe end and the inner surface of a pipe joint with a lubricant automatically and equally, by a method wherein a brush revolving and rotating in relative relation to pipe is brought into contact with the threaded parts provided to the pipe end and the pipe joint connected to said pipe end and receiving the supply of the lubricant.
      CONSTITUTION: Rotary shafts 72, 72 are rotated and revolved around a input shaft 61 through the input shaft 61, the star gear 67, the planet gear 68, the inner gear wheel 66 and the brush rotary gear 71 of a power transmission apparatus 6 by the motor 5 on a movable table 3. The mutual interval between the shafts 72 can be varied and brushes 73 are fixedly secured to said shafts 72 while the nozzle 81 of a grease dripping apparatus 8 movable to the left and the right directions in the drawing along with the table 3, that is, the brushes 73 is mounted thereabove. In this state, when the motor 5 is operated, the brushes 73 are revolved while rotated and contacted with the threaded part provided to the outer periphery of a pipe P. At the same time, grease is dripped onto said threaded part from the nozzle 81 and the table 3 is reciprocated over a predetermined distance.
