    • PURPOSE:To obtain a ferrite having a large magnetization value and appropriate coercive force and improved in dispersibility by bringing starting material particles composed of the fine powder of a platy composite ferrite into contact with a specific silicone compound in a gaseous phase so as to coat the starting material particles with the polymer of the silicone compound and heat-treating the starting material particles within a temperature range of 700-900 deg.C. CONSTITUTION:Starting material particles composed of the fine powder of a platy composite ferrite produced from an aqueous solution by a hydrothermal crystallization method and containing Ba are brought into contact with at least one of silicone compounds expressed by (R HSiO)a(R R SiO)b(R R R SiO1/2)c (where, the R -R are hydrogen atoms which are independent from each other or hydrocarbon groups having 1-10 carbon atoms, at least one of which is has been substituted by one halogen atom) so as to coat the starting material particles with the polymer of the silicone compound. Then the starting material particles are heat-treated within a temperature range of 700-900 deg.C. Therefore, the fine powder of the platy composite ferrite which has a large magnetization value and appropriate coercive force, is excellent in dispersibility, and contains Ba can be obtained.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To embed high-accuracy invisible information with degraded visibility into an image.SOLUTION: An invisible information embedding apparatus which embeds invisible information at a predetermined position of an acquired image comprises: image analysis means which acquires object information and positional information included in the image; embedding-target image determination means which determines whether the image is an image to be embedded, from the object information obtained by the image analysis means; invisible information setting means which sets the contour shape of the invisible information to be synthesized into the image; invisible information generation means which generates invisible information using the contour shape associated with the setting information obtained by the invisible information setting means; and image synthesis means which, on the basis of a determination result obtained by the embedding-target image determination means, embeds at the predetermined position of the image the invisible information obtained by the invisible information generation means, thereby synthesizing the image.
