摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To cure a heat curable resin in a short time by using a conductor as a core in the weft of a prepreg of a unidirectional sheet using an aramid fiber and also a covering yarn made up of a helically wound organic fiber as a core and attaching the prepreg to a structure and further energizing the conductor. SOLUTION: A unidirectional fabric sheet 10 is made up of an aramid fiber as a warp 1. A weft 2 obtained by spinning together with an organic fiber using a conductor as a core is a continuous yarn which is roughly formed mutually with the warp 1 crosswise after interweaving the warp 1 with the weft 2 vertically. In addition, the conductor to be connected to an energizing device is exposed on both end parts 3a, 3b of the continuous yarn. For a covering yarn consisting of the organic fiber wound around the conductor helicallky as a core, the fiber of nylon, polyester, cotton or aramid which is of a common commercial grade is used. A prepreg which is obtained by impregnating the unidirectional fabric sheet 10 made of the aramid fiber with a heat curable resin is wound around a structure and the conductor is hearted by applying current. Thus the structure is reinforced by curing the resin.

SOLUTION: This method for reinforcing a structure comprises the steps of winding on the structure a reinforcing material formed of a prepreg obtained by impregnating a thermosetting resin in a reinforced sheet in which conductive tape or conductor 3 is woven as a vertical thread 1 in unidirectional sheet having the vertical thread 1 made substantially of aramid fiber or in a reinforced sheet 10 in which the conductive tape or conductor 3 is woven as the vertical thread 2 additionally in the reinforced sheet 10, and flowing a current through the conductive tape or conductor 3 so as to generate heat in order to cure the resin. The thermosetting resin is cured by at least two steps of heating.

SOLUTION: After a reinforcing sheet 10 in which conductive tapes or condactors are woven as warp threads 3 into an unidirectional sheet whose warp threads 1 are substantially made of Aramid or a reinforcing sheet 10 in which conductive tapes or conductors are further woven as the weft into the reinforcing sheet 10 has been wound around a structure, a thermosetting resin is applied on the reinforcing sheet 10 so that the sheet is impregnated with the resin and then, electric currents are sent to the conductive tapes or conductors to heat them and also heat the thermosetting resin and cure it in order to reinforce the structure. In this reinforcing method, the thermosetting resin is hardened in at least two-stage heating.

摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a structure reinforcing technique for pasting a unidirectional sheet using aramid fiber to a structure for impregnation and hardening of thermosetting resin, wherein the thermosetting resin is hardened in a short time, conventional construction is improved and a construction period is shortened. SOLUTION: After a unidirectional sheet 10 formed of aramid fiber 1 is pasted to the outer surface of an existing structure, thermosetting resin is applied to the unidirectional sheet 10 for impregnation and hardening. When the unidirectional sheet 10 is pasted in layers, a conductive lead frame 3 is held between the layers of the unidirectional sheet 10 to carry a current therein for heat generation, so that the resin is hardened to reinforce the structure.

The upper and lower members 3, 4 thus divided are coupled slidably with a flexible coupling material so that movement of the lower member 4 can be set with a desired width. The coupling material is secured to the upper and lower members 3, 4 by means of adhesion or a metal rivet.
