摘要： PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drying agent having such properties that: when the agent is housed in a package and storage container together with a commercial product and used, the agent shows excellent moisture absorbing properties while hardly decreasing the housing space for the product; the agent is free from bleeding of absorbed water or deliquescence and does not produce a corrosive gas; the agent prevents adverse influences of water vapor such as degeneration of the product; and the agent has a cushioning function to definitely prevent damages or the like of the product by the effect of external pressure, shock or the like added during transportation. SOLUTION: The drying agent having a cushioning function has such a structure that a nonwoven fabric containing high moisture absorbing fibers is put between a plate-like closed resin molding and a moisture-permeable and water- impermeable film having 50 to 6,000 g/m 2 moisture permeability, opposing to each other and that the peripheral edges of the plate-like closed resin molding and the moisture permeable and water impermeable film are joined.
