The rod side chamber of the hydraulic damper 4 communicates with an oil tank via an oil passage. In addition, a throttling valve and a check valve for stopping the flow of the oil from a bottom side chamber to the oil tank are provided in parallel in the oil passage arranged from the bottom side chamber of the hydraulic damper 4 to the oil tank.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic drive device in which various kinds of control valves can be easily changed, and in which control valves such as relief valves can be easily added newly.
      SOLUTION: In this hydraulic drive device 1, a hydraulic actuator 2 and a hydraulic generating device 3 are integrated to be one body. The hydraulic generating device 3 is provided with a hydraulic pump 32 driven by an electric motor 31, and an oil tank 35 connected in a straight line through a valve block 34 having control valves 36a and 36b to the hydraulic pump 32, and the valve block 34 is detachably provided between the hydraulic pump 32 and the oil tank 35. The valve block 34 is composed in such a way that a plurality of them can be connected to each other, and the plurality of the valve blocks are connected and provided between the hydraulic pump 32 and the oil tank 35. In each valve block, oil passages respectively communicated with pump ports 32a and 32b of the hydraulic pump 32, and oil passages communicated with the oil tank are respectively formed at the same positions. Control valves are provided between the oil passages.
