    • PURPOSE:To achieve effective utilization of battery by connecting a battery and a rectifier to the output side of e DC-DC converter and connecting a bypass diode, in forward direction with respect to the battery, across the converter while furthermore connecting a charger across the battery. CONSTITUTION:Upon stoppage of a rectifier 11 and a charger 19 due to interruption of commercial power source, a battery 14 is discharged immediately through a bypass diode 16 to feed DC power uninterruptibly to a load 15, and the voltage of the battery 14 lowers as discharge proceeds. A DC-DC converter 17 is operated before a voltage obtained by subtracting voltage drop across the bypass diode 16 from the voltage of the battery 14 lowers below the voltage level required by the load 15. When the converter 17 starts operation, the bypass diode 16 is biased reversely and the battery 14 feeds DC power through the converter 17 to the load 15 until the voltage is settled.

    • PURPOSE:To reduce the number of silicon diodes from two to one, to make a load voltage compensator compact and lightweight, to make a loss lower and to make a reliability high by varying a setting center value of the output voltage of a rectifier by the said allowable value when the sum of drop-away voltage of the load voltage compensator and feeders is in excess of an allowable value of the floating charging voltage variation of a set battery. CONSTITUTION:When the floating charging voltage VF of a battery set 3 such as the output voltage of a rectifier 2 is such that the load current is 0 and 53, 52V, the voltage VL of the load 8 is such that a magnet contact 4 is opened and that reaches 52.97V by the drop-away voltage of a silicon diode 5. With the increasement of load current, the floating charging voltage VF of the battery set 3 lowers by the regulation of the rectifier 2, voltage VL of the load 8 lowers by the drop-away voltage of the silicon diode 5 and a feeder 7. When the voltage VL of the load 8 is 51.68-52.22V, a load voltage detection circuit 10 actuates, and varies a setting center value from a center value 1 to a center value 2. Accordingly, the voltage VL of the load 8 moves from a to b, and the floating charging voltage VF moves from a' to b'.

    • PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for the driving signal of a bipolar TR and to simplify the circuit constitution of a circuit by using a current transformer which feeds back a current proportional to a load current to a bipolar transistor TR and an MOS-TR which cuts off the secondary-side current of the current transformer. CONSTITUTION:The bipolar TR 6 and the 1st MOS type TR 5 of a switching circuit are connected in parallel and the primary winding N1 of the current transformer 3 is connected between the parallel connection point and load 2. Further, the serial circuit of the secondary winding N2 of the current trans former 3 and the 2nd MOS type TR 4 is connected between the base and emitter of the TR 6, the gates of MOS type TRs 4 and 5 are connected to each other, and a diode 7 is connected between the connection point and the gate of the TR 6. Then, a current flowing from a DC current source 1 to the load 2 is fed back to the TR 6 by the current transformer 3, whose secondary current is cut off by the MOS type TR 4 to apply the driving signal to only the MOS type TRs 4 and 5, thereby performing fast switching operation with the simple circuit constitution.
