    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide valve apparatus which allows high quality casting eliminating the occurrence of drift in an immersion nozzle bore, the fluctuation in a discharge flow and inclusion of impurity such as slag, mold powder, etc., into a cast piece even when a molten steel flow is throttled. SOLUTION: The slide valve apparatus is provided with fixed plates and a sliding plate consisting of firebrick so as to control a flow rate at a tap hole of a molten metal vessel. The upper ends of pouring holes 5A, 5C of fixed plates 1, 3 and/or the upper end of the pouring hole 5B of sliding plate 2 are provided with inclined notches 6, 7, 8. Each notch communicates with the each pouring hole and is inclined downward and inside of the respective pouring hole. Each inclined notch orientation is constituted to deviate from the center axis S1, S2 or S3 respectively. This constitution makes it possible to generate a spiral flow when tapping the molten metal.

    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a pouring tube having the high sticking resistance of metal on the inner surface of a pouring tube body and spalling resistance and little carbon pickup and the high durability with repeatively usable by fitting an inner surface releasing material formed of mica sheet to the inner surface of the pouring tube body. SOLUTION: This pouring tube used in the used in the case of pouring molten steel into a tundish under non-oxidizing condition, comprises a pouring tube body 11 and an inner surface releasing material 12 formed of the mica sheet fitted to the inside thereof. The inner surface releasing material 12 formed of the mica sheet is the one, in which the mica is pulverized or peeled to a prescribed thickness and pasted with an adhesive and worked to the sheet state. The inner surface releasing material 12 has more excellent wear resistance and the characteristic having the cleavage into the thin sheet state in comparison with a ceramic paper, and the peeling and wearing are reduced by fitting onto the inner surface of the pouring tube body, and the preventing effect to sticking of the metal is held for long time.
