    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To predict a temperature change of gas in pressurizing or pressure reducing step by considering a heat input and output at the circumference of a cavity by calculating the change of the gas in the case of pressurizing or pressure reducing the gas and the change in the circumference of the cavity by an unsteady heat transfer analysis. SOLUTION: A specific formula is associated with a normal unsteady heat transfer and thermal stress analysis program, and temperature change of gas upon pressure change due to gas introduction and discharge and temperature change of the cavity circumference can be simultaneously calculated. Thus, in a facility for storing gas under high pressure in an underground cavity, time change of pressurizing and pressure reduction of the gas, gas heat physical property value and cavity shape and cavity circumference heat physical property value are input, temperature change of the gas upon pressurizing or pressure reduction and temperature change of the circumference of the cavity are calculated by an unsteady heat transfer analysis. Thus, the temperature change of the gas in pressurizing and pressure reducing steps by considering heat input and output of the cavity circumference can be predicted.
