    • PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To ensure storage water amount during shortage of water easily by adjusting a water level in a vertical pit provided in rock-bed underground water take-out facility and controlling amount of rock-bed underground water which gushes out in the rock-bed underground water take-out facility. SOLUTION: Rock-bed underground water Wa gushes out mainly through many water collection holes 20 provided on a wall face 11 of a water collection tunnel 10 of water take-out facility 100 of rock-bed underground water take-out facility 500 provided on the ground 5 around a dam toward the inside of a rock-bed 7 and the wall face 11 and is stored in a vertical pit 50. A water level H in the vertical pit 50 is increased up to the height at which amount of rock-bed underground water Wa becomes the required amount by adjusting pumping force of a pumping device 70 while observing a water level gage 60. During the shortage of water, the water level H in the vertical pit 50 is reduced down to a water level H1 at the time of shortage of water to increase gushing out amount of rock-bed underground water Wa and take out the rock-bed underground water Wa so that it is supplied into a water reservoir through a water feed path 200. Moreover, when the supply of rock-bed underground water Wa is not necessary at all at the time other than the time of shortage of water, gushing out amount of rock-bed underground water Wa is eliminated by matching the water level H with an underground water level Ho to stop the supply thereof.

    • PURPOSE:To purify contaminated soil with a simple device at a low cost and to effectively purify the contaminated soil distributed to a partially saturated zone. CONSTITUTION:Contaminated soil is surrounded from sides by cut-off walls 1 constructed up to the depth lower than the ground water level, at the same time, water pouring holes 4 and a pumping-up hole 5 are excavated in an area 3 surrounded by the cut-off walls 1, and water is poured into the water pouring holes 4 to raise the ground water level of the area 3 surrounded by the cut-off walls 1 to saturate around the contaminated soil. The ground water is pumped up from the pumping-up hole 5 while pouring water from the water pouring holes 4 to generate the ground water current directed to the pumping-up hole 5 from the water pouring holes 4 to convey contaminant, and after the ground water pumped up from the pumping-up hole 5 is made to pass through a contaminant collection device, it is returned to the water pouring holes 4. It is desirable that the depth of the water pouring holes 4 is lower than the ground water level. It is also desirable that pressurized water pouring is made from the water pouring holes 4. It is desirable that chemicals facilitating the separation and elusion from the contaminated soil are added to the treated water discharged from the contaminant collection device.
